Stampin’ Up Summer Happiness Fun In The Sun Card

Happy Monday Stampers & Crafters! Summer is calling, and this first card from my Summer Happiness Card Class Kit To Go is all about soaking up those carefree sunshine vibes! Summer Happiness Fun In The Sun Card Details

For this card, I paired the NEW Summer Happiness Bundle with the gorgeous Beach Boardwalk Designer Series Paper. The soft watercolor backgrounds create the perfect backdrop for the playful stamped images. My color palette features Bubble Bath, Pool Party, Berry Burst, and Daffodil Delight for a fresh, cheerful look.

I began with a Bubble Bath card base. Then I layered two coordinating patterns of Beach Boardwalk Designer Series Paper onto Basic White mats. Next I adherd them to the card base with Stampin’ Seal.

To create the focal accents, I cut three Basic White squares and stamped the flip-flops in Berry Burst Ink, the sunshine in Daffodil Delight Ink, and the refreshing drink in Strawberry Slush Ink. I added extra color to the drink using Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends.

Next, I die cut the stylish sunglasses from Pool Party and Basic Black cardstock using the coordinating dies included in the Summer Happiness Bundle. The sentiment was stamped in Berry Burst Ink onto a Basic White Stylish Shapes die-cut and layered with the sunglasses for a fun focal point.

Everything was attached using Stampin’ Dimensionals to add depth and dimension. I finished the card with a Bubble Bath Faux Linen Ribbon bow and a few Sunset Sparkle Sequins for just the right amount of sparkle. Thanks for swinging by to check out my Summer Happiness Fun In The Sun Card.
