Happy Monday Stampers & Crafters! If you’re dreaming of sunshine, sandy toes, and relaxing days by the water, today’s card is sure to transport you straight to the beach! Splash & Relax Enjoy Card Details

For this card, I used a vibrant color palette of Strawberry Slush, Azure Afternoon, Balmy Blue, and Daffodil Delight. The combination feels just like a sunny afternoon by the ocean! The card begins with a Strawberry Slush cardstock base layered with a pattern from the Beach Boardwalk Designer Series Paper. After thant, I embossed another pattern of the Beach Boardwalk DSP using the 3D Forever Plaid Embossing Folder. After adding Strawberry Slush ink to the edges with a dauber, I trimmed the panel into strips and created fringe to resemble a colorful beach towel.

Next came all the fun summer accessories! I die cut flip-flops from Azure Afternoon and Balmy Blue cardstock, sunscreen from Timid Tiger and Daffodil Delight, and sunglasses from Daffodil Delight and Secret Sea cardstock. The beach ball was stamped in Blackberry Bliss Ink and die cut with the coordinating die.

The sentiment, stamped in Strawberry Slush Ink, was added to a strip of Beach Boardwalk DSP with angled ends for extra interest. I layered all the elements onto the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals to create depth and dimension.

To finish the card, I added a few Beach Boardwalk Puffy Stickers, Iridescent Pearls, and a double bow tied with White Baker’s Twine. These final touches add just the right amount of sparkle and charm.

Inside Card Details

For the inside I stamped two beach balls in Timid Tiger & Daffodil Delight Ink. I die cut them and adhered them to the inside panel. To finish off the inside, I stamped the sentiment in Strawberry Slush Ink to finish off the inside.
