We’re wrapping up this week’s Card Class Kit To Go with a charming Book Binding Fun Fold Card that’s both simple and eye-catching. Bright Borders Fun Fold Card

To start, I chose a Fresh Freesia card base, which provided a soft and cheerful foundation. Then, I selected two different patterns from the Floral Impressions Designer Series Paper. After matting them onto Basic White panels for a crisp edge, I adhered them to the card base. This layering instantly gave the card depth and visual interest.

For the focal point, I stamped a border image in Garden Green ink, creating a bold frame for the sentiment. Next, I stamped the sentiment in Fresh Freesia ink and used the To The Point Label Punch to cut it out. To add contrast, I punched another label from Garden Green card stock and layered it behind the sentiment. This small detail really made the greeting stand out.

Before adhering the book binding portion shut, I added a length of White Ribbon along the spine and tied it into a neat bow. This not only enhanced the fold but also added a soft, elegant texture. Finally, I finished the front with a few Starburst Sequins for just the right amount of sparkle.

For the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Said Stamp Set in Fresh Freesia Ink. Then I added a pattern of the Floral Impressions DSP to tie it all together!
