Stampin’ Up! Spooky Halloween No Tricks Card

This week’s card in my Weekly Card Class Kit To Go brings all the fun of Halloween with none of the tricks. I used the Spooky Halloween Bundle to create a playful scene that is perfect for celebrating the season. This is my Spooky Halloween No Tricks Card. My color palette includes Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green, and Petunia Pop, which together give the card a bright and festive look.

Spooky Halloween No Tricks Details

To start, I matted a panel of Basic Black cardstock with a coordinating pattern from the Spooky Sweet Designer Series Paper. Then I added two banner strips cut from different DSP patterns and mounted them on the card base to add extra layers of interest. Using the fence die, I cut a strip from Basic Black cardstock and adhered it to the card front to look like a sidewalk for the kitty to stroll along.

Next, I stamped the kitty and broom in Tuxedo Black Ink. Both images were brought to life with Stampin’ Blends in Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green, Petunia Pop, and Petal Pink. Once colored, I used the corresponding dies to cut them out cleanly. For the sentiment, I reached for the Textured Notes Dies to cut a crisp Basic White panel, then stamped the words in Pumpkin Pie Ink.

To complete the card, I adhered the sentiment, kitty, and broom with Stampin’ Dimensionals for extra depth. A few Shimmer Star Foam Stickers added just the right touch of sparkle. The finished card combines whimsy and charm, capturing the playful spirit of Halloween.
