Hello Stampers & Crafters! I’m so excited to kick off this week’s Card Class Kit To Go with my first card featuring the brand-new Notes & Totes Bundle from Stampin’ Up! This playful and sunny set of dies makes it easy to build adorable tote bags, perfect for summer-themed cards and scrapbook layouts. Today I’m sharing this fun Notes & Totes Greeting Card!

Notes & Totes Greeting Card Details

For this card, I created a vibrant beach-ready tote using a cheerful color palette of Strawberry Slush, Basic White, and Darling Duckling. I started with a crisp Basic White card base and layered a panel of Strawberry Slush cardstock to frame the design. The tote bag is cut from two different pattern of the Florals In Bloom Designer Series Paper. Then I cut another pocket in Strawberry Slush card stock and cut the top off to layer to the white pocket.

Next I die cut the scarf out to the Florals In Bloom DSP and adhered it to the tote handle. Then added beachy accessories like sunglasses, a water bottle, and sun lotion—each piece cut from the die set. The images on the bottles are stamped in Darling Duckling and Strawberry Slush Inks. For the sunglasses I used Adhesive Tape for the frames to adhere to the base of the glasses.

I stamped the sentiment in Strawberry Slush Ink and then adhered it to the card base. Then I adhered the tote to the Basic White card stock panel with Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the scored flaps to make it pop off the card. Lastly I adhered the water bottle and lotion to the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Don’t forget your “bling” – I added a few Strawberry Slush Gems to finish it off.

For the inside I stamped the sentiment in Darling Duckling Ink. I then added a strip of the Florals in Bloom DSP to the side of the Basic White Panel. Then I adhered the panel to the inside of the card!
