Hello Stampers & Crafters! I’m back with another fun and colorful card featuring the Day to Celebrate Stamp Set—a fantastic Sale-a-bration item! This time, I CASEd this design from Mary Deatherage at Stampsnlingers! Today I’m sharing the Day To Celebrate Happy Birthday Card.
The Star of the Show – Fruit Salad Designer Series Paper
I absolutely love the vibrant patterns in the Fruit Salad Designer Series Paper (also a Sale-a-bration freebie)! It’s the perfect focal point, bringing a fun mix of fresh fruit, bright colors, and playful energy to this birthday card.
Color Palette and Design Elements
For this card, I went with a cheerful and bold color combination:
🟥 Real Red – for the card base
🌊 Coastal Cabana – for a fresh pop of contrast
🍊 Pumpkin Pie – adding warmth
🌞 Daffodil Delight – bright and happy
I layered different patterns from the Fruit Salad DSP to create a balanced design and used Stylish Shape Circle Dies to frame the focal point. The “Happy Birthday” sentiment is stamped in Real Red on a Daffodil Delight banner die cut from the Stylish Shape Dies.
Finishing Touches
✨ Black Baker’s Twine – adds a playful bow accent
✨ Iridescent Adhesive Backed Discs (Pool Party) – a little shimmer goes a long way!
For the inside of the card I stamped the sentiment in Real Red Ink. Then I stamped the confetti in Daffodil Delight to finish it off!
