Happy February Stampers & Crafters! I’m excited to share the first card in my weekly Card Class Kit To Go featuring the Corner In Bloom Stamp Set. I created this bright and cheery Corner In Bloom Note Card today – I love the colors against the black background! This stamp set is an absolute must-have, and the best part? My card starts with Basic Black card stock. I embossed a panel of Melon Mambo card stock with the Starstruck Embossing Folder (also a Sale-a-bration item). Then I adhered some Black & Very Vanilla Checked Ribbon to the panel then adhered it to the card base.
Next I stamped the floral image in Tuxedo Black Ink twice on Basic White card stock. I colored the flowers in with the following Stampin’ Blends: Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Said Stamp Set in Melon Mambo Ink. I “fussy cut” the floral image and adhered it to a Basic Black panel.
Then I adhered the combined panel to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I finished it off by adding a double bow of Black Bakers Twine and a few Purple Adhesive Backed Sequins.
For the inside I stamped a few of the flowers in Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with the Stampin’ Blends. I stamped the sentiment form the Simply Said Stamp Set in Melon Mambo to finish off the inside!
