Happy Wednesday Stampers & Crafters! I’m continuing to craft and create with the gorgeous Charming Day Bundle for my FREE Weekly Card Class Kit To Go. Today I created this Charming Day Birthday Card. I combined rich hues with elegant details to create a layered birthday card that’s both bold and beautiful. I know the bundle is currently out of stock – but I’m sure it will be back in soon!!

The color palette includes Blackberry Bliss, Granny Apple Green, Mossy Meadow, and a touch of Basic White. I started by matting a piece of Floral Charm Designer Series Paper to a panel of Basic White cardstock. This provided a soft contrast against the deep background.

Using the coordinating Charming Day Dies, I die cut leaves from Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow cardstock. For a bit of extra dimension, I blended Granny Apple Green and Old Olive Ink on Basic White cardstock using a blending brush. Then, I die cut more leaves from the inked panel.

The white die-cut flowers were layered beneath the sentiment, adding softness and balance. I stamped “Happy Birthday” in Mossy Meadow Ink onto a pre-cut tag from the More Messages Dies. Behind the sentiment, I tucked in some frayed Petal Pink Braided Trim for added texture. To complete the card front, I scattered a few White Starburst Sequins across the background for subtle sparkle and movement.

To finish off the inside I stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Butterflies Stamp Set in Blackberry Bliss Ink. Then I added a strip of the Floral Charm DSP a panel of Basic White card stock!
