Stamp It Group Father’s Day Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stamp It Group Father’s Day Blog Hop! I’m Ann Verillo and you are visiting my page Stamp With Ann! I created this card in honor of my Dad who passed in 2017.  He loved all things boats! He was an avid fisherman and water enthusiast. I remember our first boat trip to Lake Powell, AZ boy was it a memory I’ll never forget! So today I created this Father’s Day card featuring the Sunrise Sailing Bundle.

My card starts with Misty Moonlight card stock. I embossed a Basic White card stock panel with the Soft Waves 3d Embossing Folder. Then I adhered it to a Calypso Coral cardstock panel.

Next I die cut a pattern of Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper with the 2nd largest Stylish Shape Die. I stamped the birds with Tuxedo Black Ink on the circle. Next I applied Calypso Coral and Misty Moonlight Inks to a scrape piece of Basic White card stock. Then I die cut it out with. one of the Cloud dies from the Sunrise Sailing Dies and adhered it to the front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Next I die cut Misty Moonlight card stock with the small sailboat die and adhered it to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I die cut Misty Moonlight card stock that I adhered to Foam Adhesive Sheets with the Alphabet A La Mode dies. Using the Foam Adhesive Sheets made it easier to adhere to the embossed panel. Then I cut Calypso Coral and Misty Moonlight card stock into strips and snipped the ends at an angle. I adhered those to the card base and then adhered the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Inside Card Details

Lastly to finish off the inside I added a strip of the Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper to the inside panel. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Tags of Thanks Stamp Set in Misty Moonlight Ink. Don’t forget to add a little “bling” – I added Adhesive Backed Pearl Trio dots to the front of the card!
