Stampin' Up! Poetic Petals Birthday Card - Ann Verillo, StampWithAnn.com

October 6, 2026

Happy Wednesday, crafty friends! We’ve made it to Card #3 in my Poetic Petals Card Class Kit To Go, and I saved a fun one for today. Check out my Poetic Petals Birthday Card. Clean, Simple and a Little Sparkly with Poetic Petals.

Poetic Petals Birthday Card Details

After the warm fall colors on Monday and the rich Blackberry Bliss on Tuesday, today I went in a completely different direction. This time, it’s Calypso Coral, Basic White and a little sparkle with the Autumn Woodland Glimmer Speciality Paper!

I really wanted the floral image to be the star of this card, so I kept the overall design clean and simple. The Calypso Coral flowers look so pretty against the Autumn Woodlands Glimmer Specialty Paper. That little bit of sparkle peeking through behind the flowers makes such a difference!

I also added subtle scored detailing to the Basic White panel. It’s one of those simple touches that doesn’t scream for attention, but you definitely notice when it’s there. The “have a beautiful birthday” sentiment stamped in Calypso Coral, works perfectly with the flowers, and a few Pearlized Faceted Circles finish everything off.

I carried the scored detail to the inside of the card too and used a sentiment from the Scalloped Blooms Stamp Set. Poetic Petals Card Class To Go …
