Stampin’ Up! Poetic Petals Get Well Card

Hello crafty friends! Yesterday we went warm and autumn-inspired with Poetic Petals. Today I decided to change things up completely. Hello, Blackberry Bliss! Here’s my 2nd card for this Week’s Card Class Kit To Go – Poetic Petals Get Well Card!

This card may use the same Poetic Petals Bundle, but it certainly doesn’t look like yesterday’s card. That is one of the things I really enjoy about a versatile bundle. Change the colors and paper, and suddenly you have a completely different personality.

For today’s Feel Better Soon card, I paired Blackberry Bliss with Very Vanilla and the Autumn Opulence Specialty Designer Series Paper. The combination feels rich and elegant without being overly fussy.

And can we talk about that flower? I love the framed look created with the Poetic Petals Dies. It gives the flower plenty of attention while keeping the overall card clean and simple.

I layered the sentiment to balance the floral image and added Very Vanilla Baker’s Twine along with a few Antique Pearls. Just enough bling without getting carried away. Yes, I am capable of stopping before adding ALL the embellishments. Occasionally.

I also finished the inside with another sentiment and a coordinating strip of Autumn Opulence paper. Those little details make a handmade card feel extra special.
