Flowering Meadow Friend Card

There’s something so satisfying about creating a beautiful card with minimal stamping, and this Book Fold Fun Fold Card is the perfect example! For my final card in this week’s Card Class Kit To Go featuring the Flowering Meadow Bundle, I let the gorgeous Velvet Meadow Designer Series Paper take center stage.

The rich combination of Berry Burst, Peaceful Pine, and Daffodil Delight creates a cheerful floral design that feels bright, elegant, and perfect for sending a thoughtful note to someone special. The floral imagery in the designer paper does all the heavy lifting, making this card both quick and stunning. Check out my Flowering Meadow Friend Card.

I started with a Berry Burst cardstock base and created a Book Fold Fun Fold design. Next, I selected two coordinating patterns from the Velvet Meadow Designer Series Paper and matted them onto Peaceful Pine cardstock to help frame the beautiful floral images.

For the book fold “spine,” I wrapped Berry Burst Shiny Ribbon around the panel and finished it with a coordinating bow. This simple detail adds texture, elegance, and just the right amount of sparkle.

To complete the card, I die cut a banner from Basic Beige cardstock using the Fragrant Layers Dies. I stamped the “Just Because” sentiment in Berry Burst Ink and popped it up with Stampin’ Dimensionals for added dimension and interest. Of course I added a few Dreamy Flowers to give it a little “bling”!

Don’t forget the inside! I stamped the flowers in Peaceful Pine, Daffodil Delight and Berry Burst Inks. Then I stamped the sentiment in Berry Burst Ink to finish it off!
