Flowering Meadow Celebrate Card Details

For today’s design, I paired the gorgeous Velvet Meadow Designer Series Paper with a soft and sophisticated color palette of Cloud Cover, Peaceful Pine, and Berry Burst. The combination creates a fresh floral card that would be perfect for birthdays, celebrations, congratulations, or simply letting someone know you’re thinking of them.

The card begins with a Cloud Cover card base. To add texture and interest, I embossed a panel of Basic White cardstock using the Paradise Garden Embossing Folder. I then layered a beautiful floral pattern from the Velvet Meadow Designer Series Paper onto the embossed panel. Then I adhered it to the card base.

Next, I die cut Cloud Cover cardstock using one of the Scalloped Bloom Dies. The detailed leaves were created by die cutting Peaceful Pine cardstock with the coordinating dies from the Flowering Meadows Bundle. For added dimension, I also stamped the leaf images twice in Peaceful Pine Ink. ThenI die cut them using the coordinating dies.

One of my favorite parts of this card is the gorgeous floral cluster. Instead of stamping the flowers, I die cut them directly from the Velvet Meadow Designer Series Paper. This is a quick and easy way to create stunning layered elements while showcasing the beautiful artwork in the paper collection.

The sentiment was stamped in Berry Burst Ink on Basic White cardstock and layered over the floral arrangement using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I finished the card with a beautiful Berry Burst Shiny Ribbon bow and a few Dreamy Flowers embellishments for the perfect touch of sparkle.
