Stampin’ Up! Joyful Squares Birthday Card

Today I’m excited to share the second card in this week’s Card Class Kit To Go, featuring the NEW Joyful Squares Bundle. This design was CASEd from the brand-new January–April 2026 Mini Catalog. I instantly fell in love with its cozy layers and timeless color palette. Check out my Joyful Squares Birthday Card!

Joyful Squares Birthday Card Details

This card starts with a Cajun Craze card base, which gives the project such a warm and rich foundation. To add texture, I embossed a panel of Cajun Craze cardstock using the All In A Row Embossing Folder. Then I adhered it directly to the card base. The subtle texture adds just the right amount of interest without overwhelming the design.

Next, I cut a pattern of Square Snippets Designer Series Paper and layered it onto a panel of Bubble Bath cardstock. This soft pink layer creates a beautiful contrast against the deeper Cajun Craze tones. That layered panel was then adhered to the card base.

For the focal point, I stamped the framed image in Bubble Bath Ink onto Basic White cardstock. Then I die cut it using the coordinating dies from the Joyful Squares Bundle. I popped the frame up with Stampin’ Dimensionals onto another pattern of Square Snippets DSP. This gives the card some lovely dimension, and then adhered it to the front of the card.

The sentiment and leaves were stamped in Cajun Craze Ink. I fussy cut the sentiment and die cut the leaves using the coordinating dies. The sentiment was popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals, while the leaves were adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to tuck them perfectly behind the sentiment.

To finish the front, I added a double bow tied with White Baker’s Twine and a few Cajun & Gold Dots to bring in a subtle touch of sparkle. These final details really pull everything together and give the card that finished, polished look.

Inside Card

For the inside I stamped the frame image in Bubble Bath Ink. Then I stamped the sentiment from the Simply Said Stamp Set in Cajun Craze Ink to pull it all together!
