Stampin’ Up! Jar of Joy Gingerbread Card

Today I’m sharing the final card in this week’s Card Class Kit To Go featuring the Jar of Joy Stamp Set and the Sweet Jar Builder Punch. This project brings together a warm and festive color palette of Real Red, Crumb Cake, and White. Plus I’ve it paired with playful holiday textures and those adorable gingerbread details that make this bundle so fun to create with. Check out my Jar of Joy Gingerbread Card.

My card begins with a Real Red card base. For the focal layer, I embossed a panel of Two Tone Real Red cardstock using the Christmas Words Collage Hybrid Embossing Folder. To bring out more contrast and texture, I lightly sanded the raised areas to reveal the white underneath. I mounted the embossed panel on Crumb Cake cardstock, wrapped Real Red and White Baker’s Twine around it twice, tied a bow, and adhered the panel to the card base.

Next, I die cut Crumb Cake cardstock with the Label Me Grateful Die and stamped the sentiment in Real Red ink. For the jar element, I stamped the jar image in Tuxedo Black Ink on Basic White cardstock. Then I stamped the gingerbread image inside using Crumb Cake and Real Red inks. I punched the jar and lid using the Sweet Jar Builder Punch and adhered everything to the card front.

A few Real Red and White Adhesive-Backed Peppermints add the final festive touch.
